Feeling stuck? Need help?

People become stuck in life for a variety of reasons. In psychological terms, these reasons can include anxiety, panic, uncertainty, trauma, indecision, dependency, stress, pain, habit, low self-esteem – and more.

Being stuck prevents us enjoying life and distances us from the potential we started out with. Instead, we can feel trapped, frightened, worried, confused, depressed, angry – the list goes on. Often, we don’t even know we’re stuck, just that something isn’t right.

Sometimes we find a way out ourselves, by willing our way through. At other times we need help getting back on track so that we can move forward. If this is you, help is at hand.

 About me

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist and Neuro-Linguistics Practitioner, accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and International Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

My professional approach combines the best from Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Thought Field Therapy to help people make changes to the way they think, feel and behave so that they can live the lives they want. This powerful combination makes rapid, profound and lasting change possible for those who want it.

Like many in the therapy profession, my journey to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health. Back in early 2000’s, I experienced a period of intense anxiety, panic and depression. It was a frightening and exhausting time during which it took every bit of strength I had to keep going. On reflection, it was both the worst and best thing that ever happened to me. Because it set me on a path of discovery to understand how our minds work and how to help them work best.

Today, as a Hypnotherapist working with my clients, these experiences give me valuable insight into what it can be like to suffer and more importantly, the feeling that people get from taking control, finding enjoyment and living their potential.

 Client-centred approach

Every one of my clients is unique and therefore benefits most from an approach that matches.

Whilst I work with many common categories such as anxiety, addiction, depression etc. the circumstances contributing to a person’s problem and the approach we will take to achieve their desired goal, will be individual to them.

 Therapy process

 1. Consultation – upfront phone conversation to discuss your situation and change goals, from which I will advise on my ability to help you and discuss available appointment times.

 2. Understanding – the most effective therapy is based on the clearest understanding. Initial session(s) give you the opportunity to talk in confidence about your situation and what you would like to achieve through the therapy process.

 3. Treatment – working to your agreed goal, we will shape the therapy around you. As hypnotherapy is an organic and dynamic process, I set realistic expectations for my clients and work with what presents – I will not take longer than is needed but neither will I rush a client.
