Ugo Chijiutomi

Hello, my name is Ugo Chijiutomi, and I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in clinical training, working with adults in private practice.

I work with people experiencing a range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, emotional overwhelm, identity and belonging, life transitions, and recurring patterns that can feel difficult to understand or change.

I offer a warm, open and non-judgmental space where we can think together about what may be happening beneath the surface. My psychodynamic approach explores how past experiences and relationships may continue to influence how you feel about yourself, relate to others and experience your life today.

I welcome people from all backgrounds and am attentive to the ways our emotional lives can be shaped by family, culture, identity and our wider life experiences.

Before training as a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I worked as a transformational coach, speaker and group facilitator. This led to my interest in working at greater psychological depth and understanding the emotional and unconscious patterns that can make change difficult.

I offer face-to-face sessions in Richmond, Twickenham and Islington.

If you are considering therapy, you are welcome to contact me to arrange an initial consultation and explore whether working together might be helpful.
