I am a registered Integrative Psychotherapist in training at the Metanoia Institute, London. I offer a safe and non-judgemental space to explore the parts of your life that aren’t working for you and to think about how you might achieve change.

You may have something specific that you want to talk about, such as a traumatic event, loneliness, anxiety, depression, or you may simply need someone to talk to. Whatever brings you here, I will work with you to think about your needs and how you might achieve them. We can work together at a pace that works for you to find a focus for our conversations.

I have supported people from a wide diversity of backgrounds, helping them to cope with difficult moments in their lives. I have worked with issues including addiction, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, physical and mental disability, anger, bereavement and homelessness.

I have a PhD in Sociology and Social Psychology and have worked as an academic for 25 years where I continue to teach and research. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how unfair and harmful society can be and how it impacts on our lives. My approach to psychotherapy involves an invitation to explore any of the areas of your life that you would like to: your current relationships, your upbringing, the beliefs and values you hold, the things that might hold you back you from change, and those that may enable it.

Therapy works best when there is a good bond between therapist and client. I would be delighted to meet you and to explore how we might work together.

I offer all prospective clients a free video call prior to booking the first session. This helps us to decide whether we would be a good match without you needing to pay for a session.

Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
