Zara’s style is highly collaborative, compassionate and comforting, as well as curious and challenging. She hopes to provide a safe, accepting and non-judgemental space where clients can share their feelings and thoughts and explore different perspectives. Zara’s aim is to help clients leave feeling more resilient, self-aware, self-compassionate and connected – connected to others and themselves.

Zara is a UKCP registered trainee psychotherapist in the later part of a 5 year training. Zara is an integrative practitioner, which means that rather than adhering to one school of thought she brings together a range of contemporary psychotherapy ideas and approaches to help make sense of why and how we feel, think and behave as humans.

Zara has clinical experience in short and long term therapy, working with people who are experiencing a range of relational difficulties and mental health problems – including anxiety and depression. Zara is supported in ongoing supervision by a primary supervisor with extensive clinical experience.

Recognising that Zara holds power and privilege in different ways, she is committed to building an anti-oppressive therapy practice. Zara aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for people of any gender, race, background and identity – a place where difference can be spoken about and explored together.
