Unpacking Truth Together

A three-day retreat |  5 – 7 March 2026

“Truth is like a constantly breaking wave that brings us more and more deeply into the freedom of the present moment.”

Led by Barbara Morgan & Ayaz Angus Landman

Following on from our Spring 2025 workshop, we will gather in the springtime once again, as nature is beginning to burst into life after the darkness of winter.

Over a three-day deep dive, we will explore what this means as a living, powerful transformational practice.

Weaving poetry and process, informed by decades of family constellations and pychospiritual psychology, Barbara and Angus will facilitate the workshop in their own unique way. Using the incredible tools of Family Constellation and language of Sufi poetry, we will see this workshop as an opportunity to deep dive into ourselves.

The invitation is a call from a deep soul longing, a profound echo, a yearning to yield, the grace to be. The grace that ends the struggle in an ever widening circle of relinquishment. Come and join us.

If not now, when? If not you, who?

Location: The Abbey, near Oxford

£425pp (£65 single room supplement subject to availability)

Email emma@solace-om.co.uk to register your interest

Acceptance into the workshop will be subject to a short application questionnaire.

‘Such an interesting unfolding, with many layers, folds and textures – I feel this workshop touching into my relationships, work and creativity. Being with what emerges was a useful way to engage with what was alive and happening between us as a group.

About Angus…

Angus Landman is a Sufi poet, a psychosynthesis psychotherapist and the founder of The Practice Rooms – who might describe himself as a ‘freedom fighter of the soul’. He says: “I see unpacking truth as a lifelong endeavour, a direction of travel rather than a destination, taking us ever deeper to an increasingly authentic place.”

Moving, engaging and thought-provoking. I loved the diversity and willingness of attendees, making it rich and deep. Thanks to our facilitators – well held.

About Barbara …

Barbara is a experienced family constellations therapist, and has been working in this field for almost thirty years. “Although I know I benefited greatly from my therapy training and my own personal therapy, I had always felt there was something more, something I could not resolve through personal therapy alone. The effects of the constellation work means that I feel like I have ‘come home’ inside. This does not mean I no longer experience any pain or difficulty, nor that I have stopped moving forward in my personal work; it just has a different quality to it.” Author of several books and editor of The Knowing Field International Constellations Journal for 18 years, Barbara is about to commence her seventh constellations training (May 2026) in Somerset.

The mix of constellations, open space and poetry worked very well. Angus used his poems to guide us into more soulful modes of processing, while Barbara was her usual brilliant phenomenological self. The mix of nationalities, cultures and languages was wonderful.

The Abbey, Sutton Courtenay

The Abbey in Sutton Courtenay is a unique and special venue – a medieval courtyard house in the heart of the English countryside in Oxfordshire, surrounded by four acres of beautiful gardens and ancient woodland. Rooms are available in the main building and the soothing, tranquill Garden Lodge. This is a beautiful space to reflect, heal, connect.

Thank you for creating this beautiful and powerful mix of poetry and constellation work. It has been a soul nourishing experience and more gentle type of work for me than the constellations alone, especially in a bigger group. I have discovered the whole new dimension of being which I have been looking for, for some time. It felt like a very rich cultural and professional mix and very inclusive.
