A unique opportunity to consider this most important of questions, with internationally respected author, teacher and speaker Alexandra Derwen at Stokes Croft in December…
We are profoundly honoured to be working with internationally respected author, teacher and speaker Alexandra Derwen. Alexandra’s focus is on the topics of death, dying, and loss (personal, collective, and systemic), and is coming to Stokes Croft Practice Rooms in Bristol on 10 December 2023 to host a talk and workshop called Love Disruption.
Alexandra says: “Like birth, we want to bring death back where it belongs; in the hands and hearts of loved ones, in the home and community, in sacred space. We want to bring back touch, care, love, and connection and to uphold the importance of death as a holy threshold and transition. We want to change the narrative around death, no more euphemisms, no more dirty words, and no more taboos. We honour grief; our own, each other’s, and that of the ancestors and the world.”
The three-hour session will take place both in-person and online. The in-person session will be an intimate group of just twenty – and you can book here to ensure your space.
Both in-person and online participants will have access to the recordings and also get free access to Alexandra’s Earth Hospice podcast.
