Mindfulness-based Core Process Psychotherapy (CPP) aims to offer the client a supportive relationship based on compassion and deep listening as a way to be with and meet the events in our lives. Mindfulness, or presence, helps us to come into an embodied way of being with what is. Core Process Psychotherapy facilitates such a meeting which allows us to come into a safe, supportive and confidential relationship.
In Core Process practice, Eastern and Western understanding of being and selfhood are integrated with the intention to alleviate the suffering that emerges from our conditioned sense of self. Drawing from psychodynamic, mindfulness, somatic, existential/humanistic and transpersonal approaches, it offers a psychotherapeutic journey to healing that takes into account our unique histories, wounds, strengths and longings. To that extent every client is uniquely received for who they are. The psychotherapeutic process offer ways to discover and attune to our inherent health and resources to meet our lives with greater resilience, depth, joy and empathetic understanding.
Alexander Isaksson is a trained Mindfulness-based Core Process Psychotherapist.
