I am a clinical psychologist with previous experience in treating anxiety disorders, depression, eating problems and stress related difficulties. I am a little extra passionate about helping others become more caring towards themselves. In my work, I mainly use CBT, ACT and CFT. CFT is a therapeutic approach that aims to help those who struggle with shame and self-criticism by developing self-compassion. It integrates techniques from CBT. I completed my CFT training at The Compassionate Mind Foundation. This has been founded by the father of CFT, Paul Gilbert. I am also passionate about the influence of nutrition on mental health. I have completed training in the field to better understand how nutrition (or the lack of it) can impact mood and feelings. I have extensive clinical experience in assessing, planning and delivering evidence-based treatments. Main difficulties that I treated effectively include, depression, anxiety, burn-out, problems related to low self-esteem and disordered eating. At present, I am working with both adolescents and adults.
