Amy is a specialist paediatric speech and language therapist who has worked in private practices in Queensland, Australia, before moving to London, U.K. She has a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) (BSpPath Hon) from the University of Queensland (UQ). After graduating, she worked in Private Practices and Not-for-Profit organisations in Australia. Amy moved to London in 2019 and has worked with children and young people from 1-19 years across early years, mainstream, specialist provision, and specialist school settings. She has experience working with children of all strengths and abilities, including Autism, ADHD, speech delays, language delays and differences, social communication and interaction differences, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Down Syndrome, Non-speaking children and young people using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. Amy's mission is to empower children and young people of all strengths and abilities by developing their confidence and understanding their communication strengths, needs and preferences.
