Andrea is a UKCP accredited and BACP registered integrative psychotherapist, working with children, adolescents and adults, with over a decade of experience working in both primary and secondary schools. With her background in law, has over 15 years' experience working with vulnerable adults and children, providing mental health support within criminal defence, housing and schools, as well as providing counselling services within schools and the charity sector. She is currently working as a secondary school therapist seeing students and staff, as well as working privately with adults. With children and adolescents, Andrea uses a variety of techniques to understand their inner world, whilst boosting confidence, self-awareness and supporting their individual emotional needs. These techniques include sandtray therapy, art therapy, play therapy, mindfulness and talking therapy. Andrea encourages working alongside parents/care-givers in reflective sessions, exploring their insights and how their past might be impacting their present life with their child. With adults, Andrea specialises in bereavement and intergenerational trauma. She works psychodynamically, helping adults to nurture their inner child after the loss of a loved one or when there have been complex family dynamics growing up. Andrea is a believer in journeying with you, exploring your trauma and your past at your pace
