Anna Orzech

Anna is an experienced UKCP-registered Gestalt Psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples/relationships, and groups. 

Starting this process can feel daunting, and the first step is to meet each other. I warmly welcome adults of all cultural and class backgrounds, and diverse sexuality, relationship, and kinship orientations to get in touch and arrange an initial phone call to discuss how we might work together. 

Understanding the therapeutic situation as embodied, relational and contextual, I have experience working internationally with a wide range of issues including life transitions, identity, cross-cultural experiences, personal agency, communication, creativity, anxiety, low mood, anger, grief and loss, and relational difficulties. In addition to the specific issues listed, I enjoy working with anybody who is curious and interested in understanding themselves and their existential situation.

I offer time and space to start exploring what may be difficult to talk about, with sensitivity, curiosity, and insight - distinct from mainstream, normative models of mental health. Psychotherapy for individuals and couples/relationships is a wonderful opportunity to develop relational self-awareness and explore your experience, as well as a tool to engage with difficulty and distress in your life. By helping you to understand and illuminate your feelings and experiences, we begin a process of discovery and awareness. In turn, this process expands the possibilities of how you live, relate, and make choices. 

I hold professional registration as a psychotherapist in both the UK (UKCP) and Australia (PACFA). This ensures the high standards of my training and qualifications including undergoing my own personal therapy, and means I have agreed to follow ethical codes and standards and to undertake ongoing training, supervision and development.
