About me
Hello, my name's Eleni (that rhymes with 'penny') and I am a friendly and down-to-earth counsellor, working with adults and young people (age 11+) in central Bristol. My pronouns are she/her.
If you're looking for counselling, I'm guessing you're in a difficult place right now. You may be struggling to cope with the day-to-day experiences of life: stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, work, retirement, parenthood. Or perhaps you are questioning your identity or your sense of self. Maybe something has happened to you recently - bereavement, the end of a relationship, a traumatic experience - or perhaps things have happened to you in the past that you are still struggling to come to terms with.
Counselling is a safe, confidential space where we can explore these experiences, and how you feel about them. Together.
I am here to help you along. To help you unpack and re-examine your past and your present. To give another perspective. To give you the time and the space to think about what's really important to you, to understand what you've been through, and to figure out what you want for your future.
My aim is to listen with empathy and respect and without judgement.
Our first session is free, as I feel strongly that you need to feel comfortable with your chosen therapist before making the decision to commit to working together. I am passionate about making counselling available to everyone who needs it, so I offer a limited number of sessions at a discounted rate for clients who are not working full-time (please contact me to check availability).
