I am a qualified Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, fully accredited with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I work one-to-one and with groups in private practice. I work with adults, couples, and young people.
We will begin where we are, we can explore your feelings and experiences through talking and using art materials. No previous experience is necessary, you are enough. We work in the moment, going back for the young you when the earlier experiences and memories suggest themselves.
Remembering, discovering, and exploring our possible connections to each other is on the path to a feeling of fulfilment. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation, from where the rest of the work can be explored.
I have worked therapeutically in a number of residential settings, the mental health system, NHS, schools, hostels and in private practice, with young people, older people, and with people facing patterns of addiction. I worked in the NHS for 4 years delivering Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). This is a useful tool for mapping behaviours and understanding patterns.
I have been a Re-Evaluation Co Counsellor for 20+ years, specifically looking at how the systems of oppression have divided us and created internalised oppression. I am highly experienced in creating a safe enough space for you to feel heard, discharge of emotions is welcomed, and therefore change does occur.
Working in this way supports holistic, natural change and growth.
Locations of practice: Norwich, Harley Street, London
I also offer online sessions.
