The process of therapy can sometimes be challenging and whilst I do not aim to remove all of its challenges, I will always aim to provide a safe, holding space to explore difficult feelings and go at a pace that feels right for you.
Through gentle exploration we can bring into awareness thoughts and feelings which may at times feel unclear and hard to face alone. My approach is collaborative, warm and direct and I lead with curiosity and empathy. I may at times offer a different perspective but will not pass judgement, attempt to diagnose or give advise. I tend to draw on several psychotherapeutic approach's rather than limit my way of working to one modality, as I believe each of us is unique and working with flexibility and openness is important for you to feel empowered in the process.
First and foremost, I am interested in your experience. My clinical work is supported by Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling, where I am in my third year of training in an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. I am supported by a qualified supervisor and as a member of both BCPC and UKCP, I abide by the code of ethics and confidentiality guidelines of both organisations.
I practice in person in central Bristol (BS2) and charge £25 for weekly 50minute sessions. Please do get in touch by email where we can arrange an initial meeting to discuss what you are looking for in your therapy, after which we can decide if I am the right therapist for you.
