Hi, I'm a Registered member of BACP and a Registered Psychologist (HKPS) in Hong Kong, with 8 years of clinical experiences, specialising in sexuality, gender and relationship diversity issues and adults' mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression. Currently, I'm also a Counselling Psychologist in Training (1st year Doctorate student) based in Bristol.
Originally from Hong Kong, and growing up in the UK and Canada during my adolescence and young adulthood, I have acquired a strong cultural sensitivity and openness to individual differences. Therefore, I place a strong focus on diversity and inclusion in my practice.
Since 2013, I have had extensive experiences in working with the LGBTQI+ community in Hong Kong, in particular with men who have sex with men that experienced substance use issues and/or sexual health concerns. In addition, I have been the HK Representative (appointed by the HKPS) of International Psychology Network for LGBTI issues (APA) since June 2020. Between 2011-13, I also provided group and individual sessions for children and adolescents with special educational needs, including ADHD, ASD, SPLD and mild to moderate intellectual disability, in various schools.
