‘Posture Training for Performance Gains’
Throughout our lives we tend to respond to situations by gripping our muscles - this gripping mostly goes unnoticed and gradually becomes habitual. The postural habits we end up with create pressure in the body, which can lead to poor co-ordination, stress and pain.
The aim of the Alexander Technique is to help you to identify your postural habits and eliminate the muscular pressure.
People learn the technique for a huge number of diverse reasons. Lessons can ‘free up’ breathing, circulation and digestion; they can help with stress-related conditions; they can help a person improve skills, posture and general well-being; they can cure back pain and neck pain.
The technique is a very relaxing, practical and thorough way of solving problems. For over 25 years I’ve taught people from all walks of life and I absolutely love it!
