I am a Bristol-based certified Nutritional Therapist offering both face-to-face and online consultations.
My approach is holistic. When one body system is out of balance, the likelihood is that others will be as well, which can result in a cascade of symptoms. I consider how all of the body's systems relate to one another, and also weave in the role of influencing factors like genetics, environment and personal medical history, to build as full a picture as possible of my clients' health status.
Armed with this information, I work with clients to help them understand how factors within their control – such as diet and lifestyle – can be used as tools to bring body and mind back into equilibrium, and optimise our ability to heal.
As a scientist by training, nutritional therapy appeals to me as an evidence-based practice, and alongside my work with clients, I always have an eye on emerging research that informs recommendations that I make. I offer a bespoke approach, tailoring nutritional plans to your unique biology, life-stage and circumstances.
Nutritional therapy can be an effective tool to support a wide array of health concerns, including but not limited to:
I am a busy mother of two young children and I understand how challenging it can be to make lifestyle changes and healthy choices that work for all the family with limited time and budget, so my approach is always to take the time to listen to my clients, and develop a plan that works for them, that is sustainable, and above all enjoyable!
