I am an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have offered therapy in a range of settings including charities, the NHS and private practice. I worked for many years before this with Local Government and the education, voluntary and community sectors.
I can offer a space where you can talk about and explore your thoughts and feelings in relation to the difficulties that you are experiencing. This may be something affecting you now or that stems from the past and impacts on your ability to heal, feel well and live your life more fully. I can help you with a range of problems including:
-Relationship problems.
-Traumatic experiences including all types of abuse.
-Emotions, feelings, thought patterns and behaviours that are concerning you.
-Mental health problems and diagnoses including anxiety and depression.
-Events that happen in your life such as loss, bereavement, changes of job, and menopause.
-Physical health problems and addictions.
My approach is relational and integrative. This means that I will work in relationship with you. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can be heard and explore what is happening for you. I can also be flexible, offering therapeutic tools and techniques to suit your needs.
I am able to work short, medium or long term with you; or for a fixed number of sessions. Sessions are generally weekly, but if you would prefer a different pattern, I'm happy to discuss this with you.
I am currently available on a Friday morning and can offer face to face, online or telephone counselling.
My fee is £55 per session.
