As a caring and resilient person-centred counsellor, my aim is to enable you to explore and deal with any issues that you bring and to discover any changes that you want to make. I would like to support you to work on whatever you bring in a way that suits you. I can offer you empathic listening, within a non-judgemental, safe space. Through developing a therapeutic relationship, we can create an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in order to allow you to process whatever is causing you discomfort or unhappiness. You may start to experience greater self-awareness and acceptance, which could allow you to grow and develop in inner confidence. I welcome you to bring any issues that you want to share and explore.
I provide an accepting and non-judgemental service. You can feel confident that you will receive a confidential, professional, reliable, welcoming and friendly service. I have counselled adults of different ages with a wide range of issues. I like to work creatively and would encourage you to explore different ways of exploring and expressing your feelings.
I have had experience and specialist training in loss and bereavement support and have worked with the elderly and housebound. Loss can come in many forms from the death of a loved one to loss of health, fitness, career, lifestyle, financial security, a home, friendship, or even a beloved pet.
Being a qualified member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists I work to the BACP's Ethical Framework which means that I am accountable and will provide a safe and confidential service.
