Breathwork is an umbrella term for bringing focus to your breath. You breathe in certain rhythmic patterns to music over a period of time. It is a somatic practice, which means it brings you back into your body. It is particularly beneficial to people who feel like they can't move on from traumatic events. Or people who feel like the same moment is going over and over in their mind. Breathwork also helps you to regulate your nervous system and bring you out of your stress response. A person will be able to emotionally regulate and release emotions from the body.
Reiki helps to bring balance and harmony back to the body. If you're unable to process a stressful or traumatic life event, stagnant energy can form in the body. Over time, this can create blockages for you physically and mentally. Reiki removes stagnant energy that has built up in the body through its healing powers. You do not have to believe in Reiki for it to work. Once you experience the effects of Reiki you won't need any convincing. There are a lot of scientific benefits to having these treatments. These include easing chronic pain, aiding digestion and improving your quality of sleep.
