I am passionate about developing collaborative relationships for people to work towards their goals. I often use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach for people who are experiencing overwhelming thoughts, feelings and physical symptoms, which are impacting on their everyday life. Therapy can involve developing practical tools and strategies. We will develop a shared understanding of how the current difficulties have arisen and factors that may be maintaining those difficulties in the present. I also offer integrative counselling for those that require a less structured approach.
I welcome family members to participate in order to build on existing strengths, and develop new ways to support people to overcome current, and future challenges. Regular review of the therapy is also encouraged to ensure that it is meeting the individual’s needs and is effective in achieving their goals.
