Through exploring our individual life stories and experiences, psychotherapy can help us to connect with our own sense of self and to form deeper, more creative and enjoyable relationships with other people and with the world around us.
I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space to talk about any difficulties you might be having with relationships, identity, work and family or perhaps with more general feelings of sadness, anxiety or loss. Some people come to therapy to think about a specific issue while others feel that they want to work in a more general, exploratory way or over a longer period of time. I offer sessions between once and three times a week, working in an open-ended way that can be responsive to each person's needs.
I’m currently working towards an accredited training with the Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy (A.G.I.P) and because of this, I can offer reduced-fee psychotherapy at £50-£65 per session. I also have limited spaces available at a lower rate, depending on individual circumstances.
If you would like to speak further about whether psychotherapy might be helpful to you, please feel free to call or email me so that we can arrange a time to talk about it. After an initial phone conversation, I would usually suggest a full, 50-minute consultation session to see if you feel comfortable with our setting and whether you’d like to go ahead.
I am registered as a Training Member at UKCP and I abide by their ethical framework and complaints procedure. My membership number is 2011190762.
I am a queer-positive therapist and affirming of those who are trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming.
