My name is Natasha and I am a qualified counsellor, but so are many of my colleagues on this website.
So how do you choose? I chose my first counsellor because of her warm smile on the photo and because her profile was very simple and personable. Something resonated with me and my intuition proved to be right – to this day I am very grateful for her care, support and gentle guidance during the very challenging time in my life.
So briefly about me: I am passionate about mental health and have experience of working in the mental health hospitals in Oxford. I also volunteer as a counsellor at Cruse bereavement care and this role is very important and rewarding for me. I feel privileged and humbled by being able to support my client in the journey through their grief. I believe that the challenges in our lives can lead us to the personal development and growth. In my practice I use the elements of "logotherapy" by Viktor Frankl, the author of the book "Man's search for meaning", where the focus is on love, hope, responsibility and inner freedom to choose our response in life's situations.
I can offer you a space and my full attention and support to explore your feelings and emotions. I believe, that trusting and honest relationships between the counsellor and the client are the important components of a successful therapeutic process, so if you choose me as your counsellor, we will need to develop this trust between us.
I offer a free initial 30 minutes session on zoom so we can meet each other and you can ask any questions you might have before we agree to go forward with the counselling.
My preferred method of counselling is face-to-face, but I can also offer zoom and phone counselling on a short-term or long-term basis.
I can offer concessional fees depending on your personal circumstances, please ask. Languages – English and Russian.
