Sometimes we all need a little help making sense of our feelings, our thoughts or our lives.

My Approach to Therapy:
I offer a tailored therapeutic experience drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques – all offered within an authentic and safe therapeutic relationship.
Our work will be collaborative, as I believe empowerment is an important part of the therapeutic process. Exploration can lead to significant insights into your internal processes and a greater understanding of your relationship with yourself, your relationships with the people around you, and your relationship with the world in general.
I believe the therapeutic process can help you to free yourself from the burdens, anxieties, masks and defences (protective "parts" of your psyche) that may have developed in response to life events.
Understanding the roles and motivations of the various "parts" of our inner system can help shift from a mindset of self-criticism, blame, guilt and shame, to a place of self-compassion, curiosity (without judgement), and inner peace. You can create inner "space" for your true self to expand and flourish.
In an environment of compassion and understanding, we can work towards a place of real growth and healing, where acceptance and change can be equally welcomed.

About Me:
I am a qualified integrative counsellor. I am also a trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. I currently offer sessions face-to-face, online (via Teams or Zoom) and on the telephone.
I have previously worked as a Counsellor for: a specialist Eating Disorders service; a Trauma-Focussed organisation supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse; and for a leading mental health charity.
