Hello there and welcome.
I’m Pete -- a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor -- and I offer confidential sessions for you to explore whatever difficulties you’re currently facing. These challenges are different for us all, but it might be that you’re feeling anxious or depressed, are dealing with family or relationship difficulties, or are not feeling like your ‘old self’ and can’t quite figure out why. Counselling can help at such times by providing you with space to talk through -- in a warm and non-judgemental environment -- your full range of your thoughts and feelings about your experiences and challenges.
In our sessions together, I’ll support you to understand and make meaning of your life and experiences, as well as to deal with the issues that have you troubled. Along the way, new aspects of your thoughts and feelings will often emerge, while others may fade into the background, and these shifts can help you navigate your way through difficult times.
