I am an IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Integrative Arts Psychotherapist. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) I have been practising for 18 years in a range of settings including charities, hospitals, schools and private practice. I am now primarily working in Private Practice in Brighton and Hove and specialise in trauma and supporting a developing sense of Self and the profound change that is possible when we experience our own Self energy in relation to our Parts. Our parts are the ones carrying the burdens - either as a protective system or as pain and negative beliefs. When we come to fully understand our own systems we can begin let go of pain and stress and create a more spacious existence and s stronger sense of Self.
I work creatively and relationally and aim to create a safe environment for self-exploration and change.
I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor and Reflective Practitioner and Tutor in the Wellbeing Faculty at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education. I am Co-Founder of Orange Collective supports Arts and Wellbeing Practices. I have a background in theatre as an actor and theatre director and was a senior lecturer at Rose Bruford College.
I have a passion for the power and potential of the active imagination in transformation.
