Rachael is a BACP-registered psychodynamic counsellor, with many years’ experience working within the charitable sector, NHS and private practice.
Rachael works with adults who come to talk about a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life changes, bereavement and trauma. She specialises in working through pregnancy, following childbirth and into early parenthood. This includes supporting clients who have experienced the loss of a baby and/or difficulties conceiving.
Her focus is on providing a warm, welcoming space where you can talk openly and without judgement. Counselling with Rachael is explorative, with an emphasis on understanding you – and how you feel – in depth. This may include reflecting on past experiences and exploring how these influence what’s happening in the present, as well as how the unconscious parts of you affect the way you feel, think and behave.
If you have recently become a parent, you are welcome to bring your baby to sessions if you wish.
