Hello!
If you need to talk, I can help!
I am a friendly, calm, and caring mother of two. I enjoy cooking, arts, and dancing. In my free time I take part in community building activities. I have lived in Cheltenham for nearly twenty years, after working as a secondary school teacher of French and Spanish for many years I found a passion in mental health.
I am an experienced psychotherapist accredited by the British Association for Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. I am also a member of The Black, African and Asian Therapy Network.
Most difficulties come and go but sometimes some just linger around for longer and make daily functioning unbearable.
I will support you in a person-centred and collaborative manner. In a confidential, relaxed, safe, and non-judgmental space. I will empower you to carefully explore your situation, to consider the best pathway for treatment and to make informed decisions about mental wellbeing every step of the way. I use different types of evidence-based treatment based on the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework.
I support adults eighteen and over with difficulties like depression, anxiety, and other behaviour difficulties. I have experience in supporting young people between the ages of eleven and eighteen with the same difficulties through my previous role in schools as an education mental health practitioner. Including experience in supporting people with additional needs, ASD, Dyslexia and ADHD.
As well as one to one therapy, I also offer group therapy.
I am fully bilingual and can also offer therapy in French as well as English.
I look forward to meeting you.
Regina holds an enhanced DBS.
