At times in our lives we reach a "crisis." This might be a dramatic turning point, but, in the spirit of the ancient greek roots of the word (krisis) it may also be the slow, incremental approach of an important point of decision. The point where a realisation hits us that something is not right, and where doing nothing is no longer sustainable. At such a point, where a relationship may no longer be viable, or our work is no longer tolerable, or the loss of someone close to us unveils a painful emptiness in our lives, and we may feel meaninglessness, betrayal, anger, uncertainty, listlessness, sadness, confusion, so many other things or feel nothing at all; it may be the to talk and be heard. I offer one-to-one psychotherapy to adults. I base my practice in the philosophical traditions of Existentialism as a searching dialogue that explores how we find ourselves now and how we want to lean into the future with greater clarity and resolution. I also draw on trainings in the broader humanistic and psychodynamic schools of therapy to offer an open, judgement-free, space to explore. I qualified in 2016 and have worked with people suffering depression, anxiety, grief, bereavement, addiction, obsession or when day-to-day life becomes too difficult or breaks down and needs change. I draw on many sources of inspiration for my work, incuding my own varied life experiences working in public and private organisations, in charities as a volunteer councillor, living and working abroad during several periods of my life. I have previous degrees in History from Oxford University, an MBA from the London Business School as well an MA in Integrative Pyschotherapy and Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy from Regent's College/University.
