Taking this first courageous step to seek support can be incredibly daunting and from my own experience as a client, it can often feel like walking into the unknown. Your reasons for reaching out may be clear or perhaps you have reached a point in your life where it all feels too much, and you don’t know why. You may wonder, what is counseling, and how can it help me?
I am a person-centered counselor and at the heart of my practice is you, and the therapeutic relationship that we build together. I endeavour to be alongside you, to really listen and respond to you, without judgment, as you talk through the issues, thoughts and feelings that have brought you to this point. I offer a quiet and calm space for you to just be, a chance for you to breathe and focus on yourself.
As you navigate your way through your concerns and difficulties, you may discover more about yourself and your situation, enabling you to reach a clearer understanding of where you go from here. We will work at a pace that suits you, in either an open-ended or time-limited way.
Some of the issues that I can support you with include anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement and grief, loss, chronic illness, low self-esteem, relationships, family dynamics, trauma, childhood experiences, spirituality, existential, and environmental concerns.
I am currently working in person from The Practice Rooms in Norwich.
To begin with, I offer an exploratory session that gives us the opportunity to see if we can work together. This session is £25 for 30 minutes. If we decide to continue, our weekly sessions will be £50 for 1 hour (a concessionary rate is available on request)
If you would like to book an exploratory session, please complete the contact form or send me an email.
I look forward to hearing from you.
