There are times when life is a struggle, obstacles block your path, feelings can be confusing, stressful and overwhelming. You may feel stuck or like you are going around in circles, not knowing which way to move forward. At the same time there may be a sense there is more to life, more contentment, more ease, more joy, but you may feel lost, alone and unsure of how to get there.
I can step beside you on your journey to healing and provide a safe, nurturing and creative space in which to unravel and work through what's getting in the way; to find greater insight, clarity and connection. I have extensive experience of working with people of all ages including young people.
I offer a unique combination of verbal and arts therapies to creatively explore issues ranging from anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, addictions and self-harm, trauma and abuse to issues to do with confidence, self-esteem and personal development. Together we can tailor make a way to work that is right for you.
Sometimes words can get in the way of what you are feeling, or you cannot find ways to say what's going on inside. Creative methods such as using art materials, imagery, metaphor, story, using miniature objects, creative writing, music, drama and so on can help you express the inexpressible. As a counsellor and creative arts therapist, I have the training and experience to help you communicate verbally and non-verbally.
