I offer counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. I also volunteer as a counsellor for charitable and third sector organisations. Before I decided to train in psychotherapy, I was a lawyer, musician and maker. I was drawn to Relational Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapy as this modality appeals to and satisfies both the analytic and creative sides of my personality.

The above is an old Jamaican saying; one that has always resonated with me. My therapeutic work with clients is underpinned by a deep knowledge that we are all capable of changing our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. Two of the key concepts in TA are that our individual life experiences are largely governed by the beliefs and values we learn and create as children, and that when we change our beliefs, we create opportunity to make different choices and consequently have different experiences. My curious, creative and direct style seems to help clients to find new perspectives, facilitating emotional healing and creating new life experiences.
