Hello, I'm Shelley. I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) psychotherapist based in Norwich.
If you are struggling with your mental health and would like to work with a qualified and experienced therapist to make sense of your difficulties and work through these, I can offer you a safe space to do this together. I will support you to create goals for therapy and develop a plan that will empower you to reach your goals and improve your emotional and mental wellbeing.
I am passionate about supporting people who are struggling with their mental health. I am trained and experienced in working with depression, panic disorder, specific phobias, generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, illness anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, body dysmorphia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional regulation and a range of other mental health difficulties.
I work part-time as a psychotherapist in the NHS, where I have previously also worked in Talking Therapies and CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services). Since 2010 I have worked extensively with children, young people, adults and families to make positive changes in relation to complex and challenging difficulties.
I compassionately support LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent people, and can explore these aspects of your identity as part of your therapy journey.
I currently offer in-person and virtual therapy sessions to provide you with a private and respectful space to work through the difficulties you are experiencing.
Please contact me to find out more about the services I offer and to decide if I am the right therapist for you.
