I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (accredited with the BABCP) who specialises in the treatment of Depression and Anxiety, including Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Illness Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphia and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
I currently offer in-person and virtual therapy sessions to provide you with a private and respectful space to work through the difficulties you are experiencing.
I have worked in mental health for several years within the NHS in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, a Talking Therapies Service (Previously IAPT) and in a Secondary Care Community Mental Health Team. I have previous experience working with children, adults and their families as a Multi-Systemic Therapist.
Key Training:
I completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology and an MSc (Hons) in Forensic Psychology at the University of Portsmouth. Both courses are accredited by the British Psychological Society.
I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Staffordshire University and I am an accredited member of the BABCP. I maintain my accreditation with the BABCP by completing regular clinical supervision, training and ongoing development.
I have completed additional training in autism and ADHD.
