With over 25 years in various helping roles, Simon has previously worked with many well-known organisations such as: Mind, Cruse Bereavement, Bristol University, Weston College, UWE, The Ambulance Staff Charity, Victim Support, and Public Health England. He has also worked locally with charities such as New Pathways & Safer Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales. He also works with mental health teams, can take doctors' referrals, and liaise with the clinical teams from many of the local mental health providers.

Simon helps people within the workplace via many of the country's leading Employment Assistance Programs; and takes referrals from other health professionals, colleges, and universities as well as private self-referrals. Simon is a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as The National Counselling Society (NCS) and The Association of Counsellors and Therapist online (ACTO).

Simon has specialist training for working with survivors of both sexual and domestic abuse, trauma, loss, and bereavement. He is also actively engaged in finding better ways of working with suicide and self-harm than those currently in place. As a relational integrative therapist, he helps clients to identify aspects of their past where they may have become stuck; causing distress, and preventing them from living their lives to the full. He provides clients the time, space, and most importantly; the safety to explore these events and regain control in their lives.  As well as counselling and psychotherapy; Simon is able to provide clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and coaches (including students).

Simon has experience in coaching, delivering presentations and training courses. He is able to provide enjoyable, informative and in-depth training on topics such as: resilience, motivation and emotional stability, anger management techniques; and for therapists he runs events on setting up and running professional practices, whilst all the while promoting psycho-education and the development of strong emotional wellbeing. Simon works face to face or via online or telephone. He works with individuals, couples and young people.

Online and/or telephone appointments also available.
