My name is Siobhan Farrimond and I am psychotherapist in my fifth year of clinical training. I offer low-cost psychotherapy to adults, exploring the issues they feel may be causing them difficulty or preventing their sense of joy, connection and ability to make positive changes. It can be daunting to approach a therapist, but I offer therapy that is compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental.
As a psychotherapist in training, I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) under their Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College. I hold a UKCP and BACP approved Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) and am currently undertaking a Masters in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at BCPC.
In my work, I draw on many approaches to help understand patterns of thinking and the ways in which we relate to ourselves and others. You won’t be interrogated or put under pressure, and our goal is always to help you come to a deeper understanding of yourself. In my experience, being listened to deeply can help ease overwhelming emotions and make space for new perspective. Please do get in touch if therapy is something you are interested in exploring.
