My practice is grounded in providing a safe and non-judgemental space to explore together what you wish to bring, with sensitivity, warmth, and respect. I offer counselling of an Integrative nature, meaning I may draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to best suit you and your individual needs. Aiming to support you in rediscovering your own innate wisdom, whilst creating space to explore a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
With a background spanning almost a decade working with complementary and somatic practices, I have a rich tapestry of mind-body knowledge that continues to inform my approach -- believing that the mind and body are intertwined and both invaluable to acknowledge. Often incorporating bodily awareness and sensations alongside thoughts and feelings in the work together.
At the heart of my way of working is building a relationship where you feel welcome, safe, and supported. Holding a space where you can feel comfortable, to explore and meet yourself in, whilst finding ways to move forward that feel right for you. As a member of the BACP, I adhere to their ethical framework, to ensure I am working safely and to a high standard of practice.
