I am a fully qualified and insured Clinical Hypnotherapist and Kinesiologist and I work collaboratively with people on their journey to improved emotional and physical well-being.
With a particular focus on stress-related issues and the mind-body connection, I provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your emotions and lay the foundations to make positive changes in your life. The techniques I use can help you develop greater self-awareness and support you in making improvements in many areas that may be affecting your well-being. These can include anxiety, confidence, sleep problems, motivation, anger, lack of purpose/direction, fears and phobias, digestive issues, aches and pains and depleted energy.
After an Initial Consultation, sessions typically last around an hour and are tailored according to the issues that arise during each session. I use a combination of techniques which include solution focused talking therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and guided visualisations with positive suggestions.
These techniques are safe and empowering and will help you identify goals and improve both your physical and mental relaxation. When we enter a deeply relaxed state we are less likely to come up against resistance to change and we can create new, more helpful thoughts and behaviours. This state is hugely beneficial both mentally and physically. Clients often notice other areas of their life improving and a greater overall sense of well-being and control.
The initial session lasts around 1.5-2 hours and I will ask you some background questions before you lie, fully clothed, on the treatment couch. Subsequent sessions last around 1 hour. Systematic Kinesiology uses gentle muscle testing to communicate emotional, energetic and nutritional imbalances and sensitivities which are being held by the body on a subconscious level. Once identified, I then utilise a combination of techniques to help support your mind and body back into a state of balance. I may also give you nutritional and lifestyle suggestions to implement in your day-to-day life.
