I am a fully qualified High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with 5 years' experience of working within the NHS as a mental health practitioner. I have held supervisory roles, helped with training and am now passionate and committed to delivering CBT therapy privately, alongside my NHS practice.
I am trained to treat a host of disorders including Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, Health Anxiety, Social Phobia, Low-Self Esteem and Insomnia. However, I am also experienced at developing bespoke packages if you are unsure where to begin, to suit your mental health needs.
As a member of the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapy (BABCP), I am committed to only delivering interventions which pass rigorous testing by the National Institution for Clinical Excellence (NICE). My training is routinely updated to ensure that I am able to deliver the most effective interventions at this time.
If you're new to therapy, or have any reservations about attending, I welcome any questions you may have, either via email or my website. I'm happy to arrange a phone call to allay any concerns you may have or simply to explain a little about what CBT entails.
Therapy is always best delivered when the therapist and client have a strong working relationship, and I believe this can only be achieved if you feel comfortable and at ease in our sessions. Therefore, I endeavour to provide a welcoming environment where we can discuss your difficulties openly, and without fear of judgment.
I look forward to hearing from you.
