Do you feel seen and heard right now?
Are you the one doing the emotional work in your relationship?
Do you feel pressure to be a the best parent possible?
Are you emotionally exhausted but struggle to self-care?
Do you feel dismissed when you seek help for your physical health problems?
Are you burnout from systems designed for neuro-typicals?
Do you want to be more understood in your romantic relationships?
Are you experiencing discrimination, bullying or micro-aggressions?
These types of challenges can come up for people who are not being seen or heard in their family, home life, workplace or health setting and can lead to frustration, resentment, guilt, isolation, emotional exhaustion, low mood, anxiety and struggles with identity. Many of my clients have experienced similar challenges and through listening to their story carefully, I have helped them understand themselves in a way that allows them to have a better relationship with themselves and others.
How I can help?
I bring 15 years of clinical experience to guide us in explaining the source of your difficulties and open up to possibilities for overcoming these. We start by co-creating a compassionate therapy plan that starts with your needs and wishes and then we can explore practical solutions or simply take time to reflect. Ultimately, I can help you understand what serves you and what doesn't and help you move forward with your life from a place of strength and self-compassion.
Feedback from my clients:
"Thank you so much for believing in me when I couldn't"
"She doesn't prescribe nor judge but rather tries to understand one's background and personality, recognise and appreciate what one has been going through and has achieved, yet at the same time help take you forward."
"I've spent years thinking that I needed to fix myself or change everything about myself - I had so much negativity and self-hatred. Through my work with Yvanna I've gained some perspective and I'm learning to come at things from a place of compassion rather than hate."
