Psychosexual Therapy is a specialised treatment for sexual difficulties. These include a loss of desire, pelvic or intercourse pain, an inability to have intercourse, erectile difficulties, difficulties with orgasm or ejaculation and other sexual problems. The process involves meeting to decide if Psychosexual Therapy is the correct form of treatment for you. Then assessment sessions to help understand the problem more accurately, followed by a treatment plan tailored to your needs with regular therapy appointments to assess your progress. You will never be asked to do anything sexual in the room or have any medical examination other than with a specialist or your GP.
