My commitment is to offer effective psychotherapy delivered with compassion, respect and professionalism. This involves teamwork with clients to understand what is keeping them stuck in life, what matters most to them, and developing the skills and tools to live life well.
I have ten years' experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and have been working in private practice since 2009. I work with adults of all ages and have experience in helping with a range of difficulties. This includes problems with depression and anxiety (including panic, social anxiety and health anxiety), low self-esteem, obsessive thoughts and compulsions, work-related and relationship difficulties, sleep difficulties, adjustment to trauma, loss or physical health problems.
I offer therapies with a strong evidence base of effectiveness. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I am registered with the British Psychological Society as a Chartered Psychologist and am regulated by the Health and Care Professionals Council.
