My experiences of receiving shiatsu many years ago impacted me in such a way that I decided to pursue a course in becoming a practitioner myself. I studied with the Bristol School of Shiatsu and continue to be involved with the school as a teaching assistant and as a postgraduate student. Shiatsu originated in Japan as a holistic therapy that supports both the mind and the body. It usually involves gentle stretching and some use of pressure points. Each treatment feels very individual to the client's needs. Shiatsu has a number of health benefits, including improved sleep, stress relief, and a general sense of well-being.
If you are wondering whether shiatsu might be something you could benefit from I offer a free no-obligation phone call for all prospective clients.
