Anna Allman
I am a trainee psychodynamic psychotherapist in my third year of a four-year psychotherapy training with the British Psychotherapy Foundation (“BPF”). Before this, I completed a one-year Foundation Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling Skills at the Tunbridge Wells Counselling Centre. Through the BPF I am offering once weekly psychotherapy at a low fee, seeing clients at The Practice Rooms in Tunbridge Wells.
I am currently on a training placement with the NHS, where I have spent a year working with clients who have lived through childhood trauma and abuse, PTSD, depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress and relationship struggles. My experience has shown me the importance of creating a safe, non-judgemental environment where clients feel seen and listened to.
I am a trainee member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and, outside of our 1-1 therapy sessions, I will receive close supervision from qualified and experienced psychoanalysts who are themselves registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council. If you are interested in starting your therapy journey with me and would like further information, please contact the BPF’s clinical services manager on the email address above.
