Hello, I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor working with adults of all ages. What I offer you is a safe therapeutic space where together, we can explore and make sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. It is important to me that you feel able to bring yourself just as you are; no feelings or thoughts are ‘bad’ and that you will be able to express yourself in a language that feels authentic to you, without judgement.

I will support you on your journey towards a better understanding of yourself and whatever might be going on for you. Having a psychodynamic approach, I will be mindful of how your past experiences may influence your current patterns of thinking, feeling and in relating to others.

I have experience of working with clients with a variety of issues including for example; anxiety, depression, disability, speech difficulties, trauma, loss, bereavement and loneliness.

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of what I do, and I regard it very important for you to find the ‘right fit’. Therefore, I will view our first few sessions as a way for us both to discover whether we might be the right fit for each other, and there is no obligation to commit to further sessions during this period.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and adhere to its Code of Ethics for professional counsellors. My membership number is 00960625. I hold professional indemnity insurance and am ICO registered.
