Osteomyology combines ‘osteo’ (bone) with ‘myo’ (muscle), it is the study (and specialisation) of bones and muscles.
The application of this knowledge of the body gives rise to a wide range of physical therapy techniques which are utilised and refined constantly by the Osteomyologist.
Osteomyologist work with both joints and muscles, offering holistic care; it is a therapy which fosters a cooperative relationship leading towards optimal attainment of the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of health.
