When people first come into one of our centres, they are often struck by how beautiful the rooms are, both structurally and with the furnishings. Our rooms are never cold or clinical feeling, but rather homely, unique and welcoming. All of this is so important in our creation of a beautiful therapeutic space. However, the peace and presence of care and love cements the foundation that maintains this beauty. This is truly formed in the details.
At The Practice Rooms, we love being mindful of the details, the small things. Practice Manager’s take time and consideration when making choices. Always with ethics, luxury and development at our forefront… from teas to plant positions, from hand wash to toilet paper, from flowers to signage, from fonts to recycling. Its all in the details!
We have a code of mindful practice which all of our members agree to upon signing up at The Practice Rooms. Our members are (of course) all qualified, insured and registered with a professional body, but its in the details of mindful practice which creates our strong community. Awareness, respect and consideration. From quietened voices in corridors, to leaving a room as you would like to find it, from washing up cups, to emptying bins, from turning off lights to just being mindful of the sanctity of these shared spaces and our community. Its all in the details!
All of our 14 centres around the UK share the same core:
Although every centre has these key things the same, each centre is alive and completely different. A different heart, a different personality. You always know when you’re at a TPR centre, but you’re always exploring its own unique community. From book clubs to coffee mornings, from the long term practitioners to the fresh faces. From talking therapists to acupuncturists, from hypnotherapists to massage therapists. Who’s in your community of mindful care givers?
With our therapist only areas, centre specific facebook groups and online forum, we invite you to engage, have a cuppa on us and chat with other therapists from all walks of life. Take advantage of this, if you want to. And if you don't, we totally support that too! Dip your toe in as much or as little as you like, but you will always be showing your sense of community through thought and mindfulness, through the details, not just the big gestures.
We are a community, and however we decide to interact with it, we are a part of it.
