Caro Southcombe
Sometimes you might come to a point when the life you’re living no longer feels like the life you meant to have. You may look as though you’re coping, managing responsibilities, work or study, yet inside you might feel exhausted, anxious, flat, or quietly overwhelmed. If burnout has crept up on you, or a life change has left you feeling lost, unsure of yourself, or disconnected from who you once were, therapy could help.
I’m Caro, a relational integrative therapist and a registered member of the BACP. I support adults who are looking for change in their lives. You may be managing work, study, or responsibilities, yet inside feel anxious, angry, flat, or uncertain. Therapy with me offers a warm, safe space where the relationship itself supports change, helping you make sense of patterns in your life and gradually feel clearer, lighter, and more at ease. I welcome everyone aged 18+. Additionally, I have particular experience supporting women in midlife, neurodivergent people, and those affected by trauma, anxiety, burnout and grief.
Short or long term therapy
No concern is too big or too small to bring to therapy, and we can work on a short-term basis or over a longer period for deeper work. We can meet either in person in Exeter, or remotely from your own home. Both options offer a confidential, supportive environment, where you’re free to explore what’s been weighing on you and the challenges you’re facing.
Integrative counselling draws on techniques from different types of therapy to tailor an approach specifically for you. Therapy with me isn’t about being analysed from a distance or left in awkward silence. It’s a thoughtful conversation where you don’t need to explain yourself to be understood. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, how the past may be shaping the present, and what might help make life feel happier and more manageable for you.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
