Welcome / Croeso

I’m Catrin, a Clinical Psychologist providing a warm, respectful, and compassionate space to explore emotional and psychological difficulties. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and offer psychological therapy to adults in both English and Welsh. I work with a wide range of difficulties and my area of expertise include working with anxiety, stress, chronic worry (including health anxiety), low mood and depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, adjustment to health conditions, sexual wellbeing, and palliative and end-of-life concerns.

My approach is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in current psychological research. I work integratively, drawing on a range of evidence-based models to tailor therapy to your needs. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Systemic Family Therapy. In addition to being a qualified Clinical Psychologist, I am an accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist.

It can be difficult to know which therapist to choose or what type of therapy might be most suitable for you. The initial appointment is a chance for us to connect and explore what’s bringing you to therapy. It’s a space to begin building a shared understanding of your experiences. Whether you are looking for short-term, focused work or a space for longer-term exploration, we’ll work collaboratively to decide on an approach and a pace that feels right for you.

If you would like to book an appointment or have any questions, please get in touch. Appointments are available on Mondays between 8:00am and 7:00pm. Sessions are offered online, by telephone, or in person.
