Nicole Inckle
I am a qualified counsellor with postgraduate training and over 25 years of experience working with children, young people and families across education, charities, community organisations, the public sector and mental health services.
Throughout my career, I have supported clients with a wide range of mental health difficulties and life challenges. This includes:
• Anxiety, stress and low mood
• Emotional regulation and behavioural challenges
• School avoidance and academic pressures
• Relationship and family difficulties
• Self-esteem and identity issues
• The impact of trauma and loss
My counselling style is warm, collaborative and client-centred. I often describe therapy as a journey we take together: you are in the driver’s seat, while I am alongside you, helping to navigate both the road already travelled and the path ahead. I believe this shared approach empowers clients to move forward with confidence.
I have a particular passion for working with teenagers and young adults, offering empathy and understanding for the unique challenges they face in today’s world. As a parent of two young adults, I also appreciate the perspective of parents and carers, and the challenges of supporting young people in a society so different from our own teenage years.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, I offer a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space to explore thoughts, feelings and challenges together.
Online and/or telephone appointments are available.
